UNITED WAY OF GREATER NASHVILLE: THE FAMILY COLLECTIVE
THE SITUATION:
The United Way of Greater Nashville was tasked with collaborating with service partners across multiple counties in Middle Tennessee to implement an innovative 2Gen approach that provided coordinated wrap-around services to families experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, homelessness. Monitoring program implementation and lessons learned while also trying to understand the impact of a diverse service mix based on individual family needs was a challenge.
THE SOLUTION:
A soup to nuts evaluation design starting with the collaborative development of a program logic model and theory of change. Based on initial facilitated conversations about key program design elements, Elevate designed a formative and summative evaluation of The Family Collective’s services, merging funder data requirements with the information needs of United Way and its service partners.
