MENTAL HEALTH AMERICA’S ZERO SUICIDE INITIATIVE

THE SITUATION:

As a SAMHSA Center for Mental Health Services recipient, Mental Health America is working to reduce suicide rates by implementing best practices and other research-informed policies across a diverse set of partner agencies. They wanted structured data collection and reporting support to understand and disseminate actionable best practices for reducing suicide attempts and deaths.

THE SOLUTION:

Elevate supports this through data collection and completes the analysis to produce user-friendly, accessible reports. Based on these reports, each agency will craft an action plan customized to their context and workforce that will lay out the path to implement changes known to reduce suicide. In addition, Elevate provides oversight and assistance with data collection, analysis and reporting, and facilitating the MHA team in reflecting and taking action based on data.
